“HISSAR“ Prokuplje, joint stock company for confectionery products, candied fruit and fruit and vegetables products has more than 60 years long tradition.

The company was first introduced in 1946, when a station for fruit and vegetables processing, fruit paste making and tomato boiling was founded. Since then, the company enlarged its field of activities by introducing new lines for candies, Turkish delight and chocolate production. In 1965, “ Inka“, a new company for sweets, chocolate and hard candies production was founded. The name “ Inka“ is still used for one production line in “ Hissar” factory.

The name “ Hissar“ was first introduced in 1985, while the name “ Hissar, joint stock company for confectionery products, candied fruit and fruit and vegetables product” is being used from June 2000.

Proprietary transformation has been conducted in October 2006 and “ Pionir d.o.o” Belgrade became majority shareholder.

Today “ Hissar“ stands out with a rich products assortment, which is a result of many years of hard work, employee’s experience, modern approach to business organization, implementation of new technologies, changes in visual identity and product packaging.

“ Hissar“ assortment is sold at domestic, as well as foreign market and the sale is constantly growing.
